A client reached out looking for an inspector to check out a wall issue in their garage. I referred her to an inspector we have worked with for many years.
I followed up, with our inspector, to find out how the inspection went.
He replied…..”pretty much a Nothing Burger”. What the heck is that?

The issue was that they didn’t put their car in park and it rolled forward and bumped the back wall in the garage. It knocked the wall off plumb enough to make it difficult to close the office door and get the garage door to latch closed. They were concerned there might be structural issues, but it was only 1 – 1.5 degrees off. He recommended a 2×4 and a big hammer..
Well, that’s a good way to fix that Nothing Burger!
