Spring seems to bring lots of to-dos around your abode, whether you are a homeowner or a renter. Sometimes we just can’t do everything ourselves, right? We need a helping hand or someone with experience. I have come across clients’ needing bids on projects and have personally been pricing out projects for our own place. It’s amazing how the pricing spectrum can be so vast. A seller had a sewer line bid out by three contractors which ranged from $11K to $29K. That’s unreal…. for the same work! Fencing bids coming in with a $10K gap. Electrical with a $3K difference. Tree work and landscaping are all over the board! It takes time but it’s worth it to get 2-3 bids.
